Chardham Yatra of Uttrakhand is termed to be one of the best spiritual tours among Hindus. Pilgrimage yatra begins from Yamunotri Temple, the westernmost shrine in the Garhwal region dedicated to the Goddess Yamuna, before proceeding to Gangotri Temple, which is devoted to Goddess Ganga. Then further moves to Kedarnath temple, which stands as one of the 12 “Jyotirlingas” of Lord Shiva and finally concludes at Badrinath temple devoted to Lord Vishnu, which is one of “Char Dham of India”. It believed to be a journey for the salvation.

Tour Itinerary


Day 1- Arrival Delhi- Haridwar (250 Kms/approx. 6-7 Hrs)

Arrival at Delhi. Our driver will pick-up from Delhi airport or station and drive towards Haridwar. Upon arrival at Haridwar, check-in at hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Later in evening visiting Aarti ceremony of Holy Ganges. Back to hotel for overnight stay at Haridwar.
 
Day 2- Haridwar- Guptkashi (220kms/ 9 hrs)
 
Upon arrival at Dehradun airport/Haridwar railway station, we will pick up you and drive to Guptkashi reach and check, an overnight stay.  
 
Day 3- by Helicopter Kedarnath
 
Early morning at 6:30 report to helipad, after performing Pooja and Darshan, fly down. Reach and later you will be transfer to hotel, An Overnight stay.  
 
Note: You can also visit Kedarnath Ji by trek (20 Kms /8-9 Hrs- One way)
 
Early morning you will drive till Sonprayag (vehicles allow till this point) from here you need to take local jeep/ Max to reach Gaurikund (3 Kms, on direct payment basis, approx. INR 100 per person). Upon arrival in Gaurikund, you will start your Trek towards Kedarnath Temple, which is long and beautiful man made trail. After reaching, performing Pooja and Darshan of Shri Kedarnath Temple. Later check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
 
Kedarnath Temple- The 1000 years old temple with a carved exterior is located in a courtyard protected by Nandi bull. This spot has great significance in the legendary Mahabharata epic. Inside the main sanctum is one of the 12 naturally formed 'Jyotirlingas' of India. The temple has carved shapes of the Pandavas, and Lord Shiva.  
 
Day 4 - Guptkashi- Chopta- Badrinath (250 Kms/8-9 Hrs)
 
After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Badrinath via visiting Chopta, it is known mini Switzerland and Medical forest. On arrive check – in at hotel.  Evening: Visit at Badrinath temple, If time permits.
 
Badrinath temple - It's so great to take in the way that this sacrosanct destination which is being dedicated to Lord Vishnu has been committed to humankind. The area where Lord Vishnu pondered under a Badri tree for thousand unremitting years and taught us a definitive method for welfare of humankind is exceptional on the planet. Today, this temple is considered as one of the holiest Hindu temples and is additionally one of the 108 Divya Desams, sacred holy places for Vaishnavites. 
 
Day 5 - Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160 Kms / 6 Hrs.)
 
After bath in the Taptkund visit & Darshan of Badrivishal, Brahamakamal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Bhimkund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Just within the three Kms of Badrinathjee
 
Later drive to Rudraprayag. On arrive check –in at hotel and night stay.
 
Taptkund 
 
Just beneath the Shree Badrinath Ji temple lies the Tapt Kund hot sulfur spring that has a high therapeutic worth. It is a freshwater pool with the washing region of 16.1/2 feet by 14.1/4 feet. Despite the fact that the typical temperature of the spring is 55°c, the temperature of water continues expanding continuously amid the day. A dunk in Tapt Kund is viewed as a decent restorative cure for skin illnesses. 
 
Narad Kund 
 
Narad Kund is arranged close Tapt Kund. It is accepted that the Badrinath icon was acquired from this Kund. Beginning Source of Saraswati River, Manibhadrapur which is known as Mana village, the beginning source of river Saraswati, Bhimpul (bridge) according to myth it is built by Bhim during period of the Mahabharata.    
 
Day 6- Rudraprayag– Haridwar (165 Kms /6 hrs.)  
 
After breakfast, drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh local sightseeing like Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat temples and Ashrams. Continues drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at Haridwar.
 
Day 7- Haridwar– Delhi (250 Kms/ approx. 6 Hrs)
 
After breakfast Check-out from hotel & drive to Delhi. Upon arrival our driver will drop at Delhi station or airport in time to board the flight for onward destination.

Q. When is the Char Dham Yatra started?
 
A. The Kapat or the door of the Chardham temple opens on the day of Akshay Tritiya and the yatra for Chota Char Dham starts. From the month of April till October the door remains open. The door of the temple shuts again at the onset of the Diwali festival and the Doli of God and Goddess is shifted downward for the winter season. So the best time to visit the temple is from April to May, and from September to October. During July & August, the temple remains open but due to the rainy season, frequent landslides occur which makes travel difficult.

A. The complete Chardham yatra can be done in the time span of 11 to 12 days. If you are having some extra time then you can also explore some attractions located in the proximity such as Gaumukh,  Auli, Tapovan, Bhairavnath Temple, Along the valley, Vasuki Tal, Hemkund Sahib, and Chopta. The Chardham yatra can be commenced either from Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Delhi as per the convenience of devotees.
 
Q. In which month does the Chardham Yatra end?
 
A. The Holy Pilgrimage tour of Chardham Yatra ends during the month of October when the doors of all four Dhams close one by one. Kedarnath and Yamunotri Dhams close on the occasion of Bhai Dooj/Dwitiya, other than this the doors of Gangotri Dham closes on the occasion of Diwali. Lastly, the doors of the Badrinath temple close on the occasion of Vijay Dashami. All the Holy Dhams remain closed throughout the winter season as the area gets under the thick sheet of snow and weather conditions become a bit unfavorable.

>> Hotel / camps or any kind of accommodation can deny stay if valid id proof is not provided. Company is not responsible for any ID proof related issues.
 
>> Many small hotels / resorts do not have lift so kindly inform us in advance if you are not comfortable with stairs.
 
>> As per the directive given by the Government of India, all Indian/Foreign Nationals are required to provide proper proof of identification upon check-in. Valid identification documents are: Passport & Visa, Voters Id card, Current Driver's License. All the documents must include a photograph.
 
>> For extra adults, many hotels provide extra beds. Kindly inform us in advance.
 
>> It is presumed that the tourist is medically fit to undertake the tour. If you have a certain kind of allergy (especially for food) or any serious health issues, kindly inform us in advance.

>> Driver will not drive on No entry zones and should not be forced to drive on narrow streets or roads which can create traffic jams. Normal working hours of a driver is 12 hrs in case you want services more than 12 hours in a day kindly inform us in advance.
 
>> In some hill area roads driving after sunset and music is not allowed due to risk of life. Kindly cooperate.
 
>>Pick up and drop point will be one only.
 
>> In case you want multiple visits to some particular place, kindly mention it in advance because some places have very high parking charges.

>> Sometime vehicle parking area is a little far from the sightseeing spots. Guests need to reach the parking at their own cost.

How to make a booking

As soon as we receive your query, we will update your itinerary and other package details by replying to the same mail. Once the guest is satisfied and gives us the confirmation of the tour we request you to transfer the booking amount mentioned in the below format in any of our bank accounts.

Payment Module

-          Tour Part Advance 40% and Balance 30 days before arrival

-          Helicopter Ticket is 100%

-          Rates are subject to GST

>> Cancellation Policy

· Cancellation of the booking will be informed to us in writing by mail between 10 am to 1700hrs. except Sunday or holidays . The cancellation charges will be applicable depending upon the services. Cancellation of the hotels and airlines will be done according to their own cancellation policies.

The cancellation for a package tour, be applicable as follows :

o   Cancellation before clear 30 working days or more prior to the date of departure of the Tour: 35% of the total tour cost will be charged.

o   Cancellation before clear 29 to 16 working days prior to the date of departure of the Tour: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.

o   Cancellation before less than 15 clear working days prior to the date of departure of the Tour: 100% of the total tour cost will be charged.

>> Balance Payment    

The complete balance payment has to be made before the starting date of the trip. However, the company can ask you anytime to clear the balance payment before 30 days from the date of departure The right is reserved to amend/change the prices offered for the tour and to adjust our charges due to various factors like currency fluctuations, special/high season charge levied by the suppliers, fuel price rise, travel arrangements, hike in any government taxes or visa amounts or for any other reason before the date of departure. All such increased prices must be paid before your departure (Full and final).

No refund for unutilised services

There will be no refund or compensation provided for services that are not used. If you fail to avail/use any services due to any reason the company will not provide any kind of refund or any other services as the compensation of the unutilised services.
