Destination: Kathmandu - Manakamana temple - Pokhara - Muktinath - Kathmandu

Helicopter Tour  of Muktianth and Damodarkunda is a day tour flying with Helicopter. Route is planned in a way chartered flight starts from Pokhara airport and first land to Muktinath. Take darsan of Muktinath and take holy bath in 108 Muktidhara and Mukti Kundas in front of Temple. Our helicopter then flies toward Damodar Kunda. Location is in the region of Upper Mustang area, altitude of 4890 miter. Take plenty of time to take holy bath and explore surroundings. There after fly and come back to Pokhara with night halt at Pokhara. Physical strength is essestial for this tour It takes about 2 hours total duration for flight and 2 another hours to spend in Muktinath and Damodar Kunda.

Muktianth and Damodar Kunda Helicopter Tour is planned for the Pilgrims who have true desire to visit Muktinath and Damodarkunda with hardly any limitation. The best season of Muktinath and Damodar Kunda Helicopter Tour is from March to November. Region of Damodar Kunda is  Tibetan plateau and there are heavy wind. Muktinath, the famous site amongst the Hindu and Buddhist peoples situate in altitude of 3800 meter. It lis situated in foot of Thorong-La pass of Annapurna Himalayas. Muktinath is god of salvation hold great significance for all spiritual peoples. It is sacred place shared in harmony by devotees of two religions Hindu and Buddhist.  Lakhs of spiritually inclined pilgrims visit and take bath in 108 holy taps (Muktidhara) and deep in Mukti Kunda. Muktianth is believed that Lord Vishnu by Hindu peoples and place of Padmasambhava by Buddhist. In Buddhist tradition, Guru Rinpoche; the founder of Tibetan Buddhism had meditated at Muktinath on the way of his way to Tibet. There is an old Buddhist monk present worship. Muktianth is also famous for its beautiful panoramic Himalayan view and source of Silas or Shaligrams found in the Gandki river.  

Damodar Kunda, is a pious pond situated in Upper Mustang of Nepal. According to Baraha Puran lord Krishna has told, the person who visit and take bath in Damodar Kunda will be free from any kinds of sins of life. Lord Bhisnu was also instructed to go and take bath in Damodar Kunda for two sons of Kuber, who were suffering much from sins.  There are three ponds these are, Brahma Kunda, Rudra Kunda and Ananta Kunda. The main source of Kali Gandaki River believed to be Damodar Kunda and it is also a good source of Shaligram. Peoples who believe is Hinduism, hopes to reach this kunda at least once in their life time before passing away.      

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Tribhuban international airport Kathmandu (1350m) Transfer to Hotel and Overnight.

Day 02: Drive to Manakamana temple and Pokhara. Overnight at hotel

Day 03: Transfer to Airport. Fly to Muktinath and Damodar Kunda. back to Pokhara. overnight at Hotel

Day 04: Fly back to Kathmandu and sightseeing. Overnight at hotel

Day 05: Departure to Home

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Tribhuban international airport Kathmandu (1350m) Transfer to Hotel and Overnight. Meet the Staff/Driver at the airport & pickup from the International Airport of Kathmandu. transfer to hotel. if time permits we go for Aarati in Pashupatinath temple overnight stay at Kathmandu

Day 02: Drive to Manakamana temple and Pokhara. Overnight at hotel - We start driving to Manakamana temple after your breakfast in Hotel. it is 3 hours driving to reach and take cable car ride to temple. Darsan and back to car. further drive to Pokhara for another 3 hours and transfer to hotel Overnight stay at Pokhara

Day 03: Transfer to Airport. Fly to Muktinath and Damodar Kunda. back to Pokhara. overnight at Hotel - We transfer you to Pokhara airport. fly with helicopter to Muktinath temple. take an hour to darsan and further flight with same helicopter to Damodar Kunda. fly back direct to Pokhara and transfer to hotel Overnight stay at Pokhara

Day 04: Fly back to Kathmandu and sightseeing. Overnight at hotel - Morning visit some temples in Pokhara. Bindabasini temple and Taal barahi. Late morning fly to Kathmandu. Visit some temples in Kathmandu and overnight stay at Kathmandu

Day 05: Departure to Home - You have option to spend another day in Kathmandu to visit temples, Stupas and Historical places. Or we transfer you International airport for your final departure.

What to wear:

1. Warm clothes, a pair of hiking shoes, sun-tan cream, sunglass, nuts biscuits, huts, Chocolate, of choice, Personal towel, woolen socks etc. Torch and Cameras tele or still with enough batteries.

Month to visit Damodar Kund:

By Helicopter visit in the month of April and September is suitable. For the treks on foot / Pony May, June is preferable. Helicopter Services will be conducted from Jomsom/Pokhara.

Others Requirement:

Indians are required to carry authorized identity card, preferably passport, Indians and others SAARC nationals will have to pay ACAP fee of Rs. 200 and others nationals will be paying Rs. 2000.
